Combine the alpine roads of the Best of the Mountains tour with the alpine-maritime roads of the Cabot Trail tour and you have New England - New Scotland. On this, our most challenging tour, you'll experience the best mountain roads in New England and the best mountain and maritime riding in New Scotland, or Nova Scotia. You'll experience the dramatic notches and gaps of the Green and White Mountains before riding to the top of Mount Washington. Crossing the White Mountains of Maine, you'll arrive in Bar Harbor and have a day to explore Acadia National Park.

The next morning, you'll travel by ferry to Nova Scotia to enjoy beautiful roads along the ocean, exceptional historical sights and the famed Cabot Trail. Clinging to the cliffs of Cape Breton Highlands National Park, the trail twists and turns along the edge of the Atlantic ocean and through the mountains, providing spectacular views for more than 200 miles. Accommodation and dining throughout the tour are first rate. Our attention to detail in this aspect of touring has become an NMT trademark. After each day of superb riding and spectacular views you'll sit down to a gourmet dinner, with full range of the menu, and luxurious accommodation.

The fifteen-night New England - New Scotland tours includes a two-night stay in the Green Mountains, a two-night stay in the White Mountains, a two-night stay near Acadia National Park and a four-night stay on Cape Breton. By design, there are never more than three consecutive days on the tour which require riding point-to-point. The July tour begins in Dover, Vermont and ends in Bar Harbor, Maine.
