Greetings
from Vermont,
Welcome to the Northeastern
Motorcycle Tours
web site. There are so many motorcycle touring
companies out there that
choosing the right one for your vacation can be a
real adventure in
itself. 2020 will mark our 24th year leading
motorcycle tours in the northeast. In New
England, the
Adirondacks, the Canadian Maritimes and Gaspé,
no other motorcycle touring company can come close
to matching our experience, track record or
reputation with both riders and the press.
We've worked hard for many years to earn their
trust and respect and will always continue to do
so. When you book a tour with NMT,
you're putting yourself in the hands of a company
that's proven itself year after year, having
provided vacations for over a thousand riders,
many of whom return for multiple tours.
We're proud
that
major corporations such as Daimler Chrysler
and American Honda Motor
Corporation have chosen NMT
to provide high quality custom vacations for
their
executives and dealers and we will continue to
focus our efforts on providing world
class tours for both corporations and
individuals.

We hope
that the many pages of this web site will give
you a good idea of who we are and what we offer
to discriminating motorcyclists. Throughout the
site you'll find reproductions of recent
articles about NMT as well as letters
from past participants. We include these to give
you a good sense of what an NMT tour
feels like from a rider's perspective.
Northeastern
Motorcycle Tours is a
small company which specializes in an
extraordinarily beautiful
and varied region of North America. It is our
own back yard, so
to speak, and that allows us to regularly
research and refine the
routes, hotels and dining used on our tours so
that they always meet our very high standards.
Unlike a large
company that may conduct tours all over the
world using
subcontractors and non-local guides, we only
organize tours in
regions that we know well and have explored
thoroughly.
As a
fourth-generation Vermont native with family
roots in Nova Scotia
and Quebec,
I have developed a real love for the traditions,
architecture and
abundant natural beauty of the rural
northeast. When we
design a tour, we look to create day after day
of exceptional
riding and unique sights and attractions
combined with exceptional
dining and lodging.
In the end, what we strive for is
a motorcycling experience that is both
invigorating and relaxing.
Fred Rau, senior editor at Motorcycle
Consumer News,
in his review of
our 1998 "Best
of Vermont" tour, probably said it best:
"I
can't remember when I've
felt so relaxed or enjoyed riding so much."
That's
what we're all about.

Each year, we
ride thousands of miles leading tours and
researching new routes. I invite you to come
join us and experience this wonderful region for
yourself. We don't care what kind of motorcycle
you ride so long as it works for you. All makes of
motorcycles are welcome on our tours and rentals
include models from BMW, Harley-Davidson and
Honda. We don't buy into the "one brand is best"
state of mind.
I'd
recommend starting your exploration of our web
site at the Site Map
which will help you to quickly locate a wide
range of information about Northeastern
Motorcycle Tours. Our new slide
shows section is also worth a visit if
you've got a few minutes to spare and would like
a visual tour of NMT. We've also added a new Adobe
Acrobat section to the site where you can
download our brochure information to your
computer for printing or exploring when you're
not on the Net.

Thank you note from Miguel Duhamel,
motorcycle road racer extraordinaire,
who joined NMT for a
custom Eastern Trek tour we
provided for American Honda Motor
Corporation in 2002.
